Objectives :

To develop, enhance, and evaluate, impact assessment and management tools for the sustainable land use of the watershed areas of coastal deltas via creation of an integrated database system involving all relevant European research and application practices; fostering communication and collaboration on land management, in target deltas; development of land-use models for target deltas; inducing a cooperative institutional structure; creation of cooperation and networking among scientists, land developers and decision makers in Black Sea basin; development of an environmental education program.

Objectives :

To enhance the capacity of stakeholders for, (1) sustainable land use, land use change and water resources management to mitigate climate change; (2) maintaining agro production and minimising the hazards of extreme climate events by adaptation, while accommodating rapid population growth, industrial and commercial development in order to support sustainable economic activities consistent with local and state government planning efforts in Trakya Region that involves analytical land-use and climate change projections via (i)To model short-, medium- and long- term climate change under different scenario for Trakya Region; (ii) to investigate sustainable land use management strategies to mitigate climate change; (iii) to assess the impact of climate change on water quality and quantity and measures to mitigate and adapt to its impacts; (iv) to investigate the impact of climate change on agro-production of the region and assess the precautions to mitigate and adapt to it; (v) to evaluate hazards of extreme climate events (drought and flood)  and strategies to mitigate and adapt to it; (vi) to establish “Climate Change Monitoring, Mitigation and Adaptation Platform”

Objectives :

In overall, the action aims to adapt the agricultural production of TR21 Trakya Region to the climate change by, (1) preventing and reversing Land Degradation (LD), combatting desertification and setting Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) targets in line with UNDP Sustainable Development Goal (SDG Article 15), (2) creating an integrated database, (3) developing Decision Support Systems (DSS), and (4) ensuring institutional cooperation and building capacity.
