Project aims at creation of environment of cooperation and friendship among societies in P\u0131narhisar and Tsarevo; preparation of environment for young generations to cooperate and work together in different fields in the future; contribution to tourism development and, thus to social and economic development in the region, in the context of P\u0131narhisar and Tsarevo; development of institutional capacity that has been started among the partners with cross border program of year 2004 via provision of education in canoeing sport and environment of collaboration for 10 youngters of 12 \u2013 16 age group youth in P\u0131narhisar and Tsarevo.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

In overall, the action aims to turn Kemaliye into a sports destination brand as a consequence of organisation of sports events and their institutionalisations with the support of TURKAF and TKF, together with promotional and marketing works within the context of Kemaliye Water Sports Centre KESUMER, and branding these activities as a tourism product. In this way, competitiveness of Tourism sector in the region will be contributed by extending tourism season to whole year and improving the tourism mobility through increasing number of tourists by 10%, tourists\u2019 average duration of stay in the region by 100% and tourism revenues by 50%. In specific, the action aims at establishment of fully equipped Kemaliye Water Sports Centre KESUMER in Kemaliye, in the area designated by the project partner EIGSM and within the framework of this water sports tourism infrastructure; (1) creation of Kemaliye nature and water sports tourism product through organisation of min. two competitions in each of the canoeing and rowing branches, with the support of TKF and TURKAF and with participation of min. 50-70 athletes in each branch, both nationally and internationally, and through institutionalisation of min. one of these competitions organised in each of these branches annually by including them in annual competition calendars of TKF and TURKAF, (2) branding Kemaliye under the concept of a town of nature sports as a tourism product through promotional activities towards 4 universities in TRA1 region; 20-22 national sports clubs that are active in canoeing and rowing branches; 10 canoeing, 10 rowing federations abroad; 8-10 tour operators and 3-5 press and media organisations within tourism sector, (3) increasing the service and institutional capacities of tourism sector in the region by organising min. four capacity-building-based tourism seminars towards managements and employees of tourism enterprises that are active in Kemaliye and TRA1 region, in general.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>
